Kari Samantha (born on April 28, 1967) Wuhrer is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as she was a teenager. Her most well-known role is for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well in the role of her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has three brothers and sisters. The singer began performing in club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her house to sing. The actress studied acting since her 13th birthday at Wooster School. Later, she studied drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American model, actress, and singer.
