Amidst the potatoes, corn and wheat that are grown in the sprawling and spacious farmlands of Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling's most athletic wrestlers, emerged. Wilson, a budding fitness-model during the 90s, was taken by her partner to the WCW's backstage area when they visited. Then, she was a part of Scott Steiner in the ring and continued working for the next decade. Wilson directed David Flair and The Filthy animals, as well as Billy Kidman. She also competed occasionally for WCW. Wilson started working with WWE shortly after the company bought WCW, in spring 2001. Wilson's athleticism as well as her love of entertainment meant she was a perfect choice for WWE in one of the entertainment industries' most significant eras. Wilson was a key player in the history of WCW when it was swept into WWE, thanks to her partnership with Stacy Keibler (her friend and sometimes her rival). When the war was finally fought off, Wilson became a key part of the women's division in WWE and was involved in unforgettable rivalries alongside the likes of Keibler, Sable and Melina. Wilson even took on her family's honour against the evil Dawn Marie.
