Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre from a very young stage. As studying of Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and in Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted about six years. They welcomed in 1965 two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
