LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. In 2018 James was also chosen to be on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. In 2021 James was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player in NBA history to accumulate 10,000 points or more in a career rebounds and assists. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a potential NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. He was named as the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. He soon became one of the top players of the NBA and was awarded both the NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010. James, who did not win the championship at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and joined in the Miami Heat. This was disclosed by the book The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a sports free-agent in the history of sports.
