LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players. He is often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships and Four NBA MVP Awards as well as the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has the distinction of having two Olympic Gold medals. James has scored the second greatest number of goals in his career and seventh most assists. He has been selected as an NBA All Star 18 times. James has 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The third most number of NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James has been chosen for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points as well as rebounds and assists in his career in 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed him as an NBA star. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year the player quickly became one of the league's premier players, winning the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010.
