Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. Being the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to win four gold medals at a single Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles was also the first to hold three world titles consecutively. Biles and the younger of her sisters Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics when she was an infant in a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next 11 years. Biles earned a silver in vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to elite-level competitions in 2011. Within less than two years, she became the best in her sport. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the extreme level of effort she put into her routines in every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
